I Consider Myself Lucky

During this time I realize how lucky I am to live the life that I do. Being healthy, with family, being able to enjoy the pleasures of fancy places, and receiving really nice gifts. I almost feel like I don’t deserve it, I feel like I’m taking advantage when I receive more than what I think I deserve.

Lorena tells me that’s my side of remaining humble. I don’t want to take advantage of anybody, so it’s hard for me to accept gifts. But we should accept what’s given to us as a sign of appreciation.

It’s 10:14PM in Guadalajara. I’m looking through the window that stretches the entire wall and I can see the city of Guadalajara. It’s an amazing view.

I’m going to go downstairs to the hotel lobby and toast for all the blessings.
